Sound the drums, head on to war — seized citadel Alem has already been there for the lion's share of a year.

Under the Scavengers' guidance, the four sand worms the party captured gently graze underground corridors allowing the group to reach halfway up Mount Attevar. From there, they quickly infiltrate Alem through a bustling trade route.

Young King Deimar strikes a simple bargain: serve Alem in its bitter last days until inevitable downfall, and the citadel will grant access to its Beacon before the final evacuation is completed.

Sounds simple enough. Now, survive it.

Characters arrive today, with our first proper taste of event chaos due on 27-28 January. Get your character settled in, check out the setting and their assignment, and strike some CR:

- she's going to take her position in the northern tower very seriously, very interested in thinning out some undead ranks

- she's been a one woman siege before (ask Stephen) and while toned down, she's very good at destroying things
- but she can also protect :) v good at barriers
- will generally be kind to anyone that needs a hand or looks vulnerable

hello, i play an obscure lady ('tis for the best, trust me) but what is important to know about her at this moment is she has a lot of twin issues, of the 'my twin was dead and now she isn't' variety

Wanda's here to collect all the magical ladies so of course! And TWIN ISSUES are a surefire way in, she's got a lot of them including a dead twin running around that doesn't know he's dead.

I'd be very happy to finally introduce Wanda to Five and Marcos. They aren't in the towers but word spreads around. Five will be pretty leery of another super powerful person in their group but he's also fairly chill about murder that needs to happen. If he ever appears outside of whatever BS is in the gut's bind I'm sure he'll be very sane company.

Marcos is here to be your AU extended family, so just expect there will be a dinner at some point that he and Lorna will show up at if that's ever a thing. He'll probably be paling around with her brother before long regardless, so might as well get used to him!

Wanda's annoyingly flashy with her magic so if you want both/either to see her from a distance and use that as a way to approach/Wanda sees someone looking at her funny at some point, that's fine by me :D
