Sound the drums, head on to war — seized citadel Alem has already been there for the lion's share of a year.

Under the Scavengers' guidance, the four sand worms the party captured gently graze underground corridors allowing the group to reach halfway up Mount Attevar. From there, they quickly infiltrate Alem through a bustling trade route.

Young King Deimar strikes a simple bargain: serve Alem in its bitter last days until inevitable downfall, and the citadel will grant access to its Beacon before the final evacuation is completed.

Sounds simple enough. Now, survive it.

Characters arrive today, with our first proper taste of event chaos due on 27-28 January. Get your character settled in, check out the setting and their assignment, and strike some CR:

Yes! I would absolutely love that. And I agree on them vibing, based on what you said about him! It honestly sounds like they have a lot in common tbh.

is marcos more of a good cop or a bad cop, because nacho can go either way. i think he is probably a little more used to being the good cop to tuco's bad (very bad) cop but he could play bad cop to the right person too if he's with someone way calmer, so.... i think there's a lot of potential here!!

also hopefully someone might believe him that jimmy is.... not LYING necessarily but leaving out important bits of context (which tbf, jimmy doesn't necessarily have access to BUT STILL)

Yeah! Getting back to his roots that he seems to have to visit periodically and feel bad about in retrospect. (He was the handsome young charmer who was supposed to marry the boss's daughter, before he fell in love with Lorna and decided smuggling mutants to safety was a lot more fulfilling than smuggling drugs and torturing people. That old story.)

The last time he did that he went in fully expecting to be the bad cop, but the lady he took was really into that role so he ended up being the good cop lmao. He has experience and that's the important part. Most people back down when you threaten to blind them so all he has to do is flash his hands in their face. Totally fine.

His impression of Jimmy is just a poor guy in over his head, so please feel free to help shape this opinion.

(awww... that's kind of sweet ;a; or a lot sweet. but nacho approves of smuggling people to safety even mutants are not something he's familiar with. he understands the general concept of somebody who's marginalized by society anyway.)

well, then he can be the bad cop! nacho can be the good cop for him. threatening to blind people by flashing your hands in their face is.... idk, is that better or worse than columbian neckties? we'll go with better.
