So. For the powers not working bit is it 'they barely work' or 'they can't control it'? I guess what my question is, can Yuuri sporadically and inconsistently cause minor hallucinations like sharing the sensation of drowning to people around her (sharing is caring!), accidentally broadcast her thoughts?

Less blowing up, more protecting. Dany during the lead up to the coup was going to enlist some help from some of the merchants and other more well to do crowd to help her find a building large enough to act as a safe haven. She was going to reinforce it against potential violence and be sure that the injured and homeless had a place to go.

Most of what she'd end up doing during this plot is related to this. If it's at all possible, I'd be grateful.

Could Wrathion use his leverage with the rebels to organise a sort of focused distraction to help the rescue attempt for Macaluso, try and draw away some of the guards? There are presumably still sympathisers and he'd explain that was what he wanted to do.

So I know we talked about Emilia being given limited use of the kitchens/befriending some of the kitchen staff a while back, and I did incorporate that aspect in some of my threads. Would this help any with the Macaluso quest re: receiving tips?

Is Wrath's separate talk thread with Bonaccarso or Vannozza? Only asking so I can set it up properly in the NPC top level.

Also, do people/the protestors' opinions of Bonaccarso change at all after his speech and y'know raining fire down like ya do when you're a horrible old man?

So how much free reign can Allison have with her rumors when it comes to the witches? Like "I heard a rumor you forgot how to use magic" definitely came to mind, but are there any hard limits or stops she might come up against?

Listen, he's no Lord Voldemort so cold-hearted execution in the square isn't something Hermione can condone, but on the other hand he can just succumb to his illness slowly in a cage, hopefully with undead nearby to hound his mind and every waking moment left. This is fine.

My first-half Dec is looking a tiny bit rabid, so I'll largely be keeping Lan Wangji as support, if other folks need him. He's very long range and used to war, so the crowds won't startle him — most of his focus while out of the Palace of the Doxe will be on redirecting civilians and forcing the Palace gates to open.

He'll participate in Vannozza's hunt to take down her grandfather, and I'm happy for him to strike at your character, thinking they're an enemy, if you need that in your life. Sadly, I think he'd be better at scaling walls and entering through balconies than at... outright stealthy costume-changing infiltration. So, if anyone else would like to awkwardly climb architectural fixtures?

Once Bonaccorso advertises arson as his approach to team building, Wangji will start gently herding as many civilians as one man can out of the literal fire range. He might... not necessarily know what to do with them after, so if you've got good crowd management skills, lend this man a hand.

This is a short and sweet list, but! Happy to jump in, if you need a tank anywhere. He's very good at taking a beating. And delivering one. True versatility.

That said, herding civilians, using talismans to shield them, and then keep them as calm as they can get, son can help with those.

Daenerys Targaryen | A Song of Ice and Fire

My December is fairly steady. Most of the hectic things will happen later in the month. In this first half, I can devote my focus to tags unless my health says otherwise. I also backtag like crazy.

Dany's focus is mainly going to be protecting the civilians and directing people to her safe haven. She's set up a place for women, children, anyone not wanting to be in an actual battle. One of the abandoned healing halls has been converted for her use. Anyone who comes by is put to work basically, since it still needs repairs and has little in way of reinforcements. If anyone is interested in helping defend the area, they would see a very, very grateful Dany.

She's going to be keeping an eye on Moretti and her witches. She'll be part of the effort to try and talk them down, but if things escalate and civilians get hit with fire magic, Drogon is going to be flying around the towers, doing what he does best.

Dany's also going to talk to the masses and the violent crowd, trying to talk some of them down and get them to leave peacefully. It works for some, not all. She's going to get a nice turnip out of this, because someone decides to throw a rock her way and maybe some fire magic.

I'm open to other stuff as well, but these are my primary thoughts!

Wrathion the bad dragon

Wrathion fled the palace before and has hidden himself among the rebels. At least these people aren't as likely to stab him in the back!

That said, he's mostly in here to leak information and to gently manoeuvre the rebels around. If someone needs to avoid kidnap, Wrathion knows all the secret handshakes to convince the rebels he is on their side and also, so are you, if they would please let you go and not try to ransom you! He's willing to drag(on) you in as a recruit (or as a pretend-recruit, to get you out of the palace -- either is fine).


If you are outside the palace and at the merry rebel party, and feeling cold, feel free to hang out with him: dragons are warm, his blood is fire, etc etc. He will look faintly uneasy but try to keep an air of calm. He is willing to discuss how this is all, actually, feeling like it will end horribly.


Once the chaos breaks out he will be helping rescue Macaluso: he'll round up some rebels to help be a distraction, too! Wrathion was team Macaluso for a literal hot second before the boy got arrested and he feels slightly bad about how he was meant to make him fail anyway? Listen the guy seems.... naïve but well meaning and he's known people like that. He has a weakness but he's not talking about it.

Wrathion is decently sneaky, can do illusions, and can short range teleport! He can knock people out if necessary, but if it comes to it he can also rain down hell with magic. SOMEHOW, they will make this work!

The Doctor | Doctor Who

So... the Doctor will end up spending most of his time being kidnapped! Its almost tradition at this point that some one in his party ends up getting whisked away, might as well be the Doctor himself. He will try talking his way out of it, mentioning that its very unlikely to be important enough to get Bonaccorso's attention and pointing out that their beloved leader doesn't seem to care for much anyone but himself. They have had several examples of that! But if anyone wants rescue points ping me here or coco_rose over there and we can do something with that.

I may toss him around in the event a bit but in a support role sort of way as I'm not sure how much time I will have for what this month.
