PLOT ROLLS | JUNE
Hello, hello! The latest plot rolls are now live, linked below. They cover events between 22 June and 5 July.
As a reminder: everyone can participate, even if you didn't sign up. The recommendation is to choose one plot roll, to avoid getting overwhelmed — but no one's the boss of you.
You can make your own network posts, or play things out in the logs linked below.
NPC threads have been allocated, but threads will go up within the next few hours — you'll receive a relevant link at the time.
Feel free to use this post for all your plotting needs.

■ THE DISSENT | LOG | Questions | Plotting
■ THE CONCORD | LOG | Questions | Plotting
■ THE PRIESTS | LOG | Questions | Plotting
While much of the events overlap in terms of timeline, loosely you are looking at: the Sunken (towards the edges of the Crossing), the Concord, then the Priests (as the ships deepen their journey into the Crossing). The Dissent takes place more broadly throughout.

1. Was there anything of note that happened before the captains suddenly tried to crash the ships?
2. When did ships began coming to the Crossing for this 'unthinkable power'?
3. And, prior to that, did anyone come through here?

We'll have to assume it's the spirit of a sailor whose captain crashed his ship — or else, he wouldn't know the answer to #1:
1. Mostly, the captain the spirit observed seemed to have completely lost awareness of himself and of his surroundings, as if he were a man possessed. The crew assumed that the captain was only rattled by the hauntings, and they were surprised when the crash occurred. It seemed sudden, especially as they had gotten very close to the middle of the Crossing region, relatively unharmed.
2. The Crossing has been sailed before, and had its aura of danger and uncertainty like every semi-remote location — but the explorations, deaths and hauntings only truly started to pick up in the last five years.
3. I won't make this one of your three questions, but — basically, you can't ask a spirit a question about a period when they weren't in the Crossing, they wouldn't really know. Seems unfair to make this one of your three queries, so we won't log it.

Though for three I was more meaning if there were any records of successful crossings. Though I am also perfectly fine with holding off on it. I have no other questions, haha.
Also...interesting! Five years huh... :|a
