PLOT ROLLS | JUNE
Hello, hello! The latest plot rolls are now live, linked below. They cover events between 22 June and 5 July.
As a reminder: everyone can participate, even if you didn't sign up. The recommendation is to choose one plot roll, to avoid getting overwhelmed — but no one's the boss of you.
You can make your own network posts, or play things out in the logs linked below.
NPC threads have been allocated, but threads will go up within the next few hours — you'll receive a relevant link at the time.
Feel free to use this post for all your plotting needs.
- ■ THE SUNKEN | LOG | Questions | Plotting
■ THE DISSENT | LOG | Questions | Plotting
■ THE CONCORD | LOG | Questions | Plotting
■ THE PRIESTS | LOG | Questions | Plotting
While much of the events overlap in terms of timeline, loosely you are looking at: the Sunken (towards the edges of the Crossing), the Concord, then the Priests (as the ships deepen their journey into the Crossing). The Dissent takes place more broadly throughout.

THE SUNKEN

Sebastian never saw this coming.

CLAIM YOUR LOG PAGE
Drop a thread link here, if you've gotten to the point where your character has rescued a page or two from the captain's log — you'll get a brief summary of their findings.
To keep this relevant, submit your threads by 3 July, and please don't forget to share your learnings after!

Eda and Wrath should be ready in like a tag or two here though. Not sure if this counts, but was hoping that some of the log, at least, could be found especially if it can illuminate some of what Wrath found below. If not, then no big deal. :)

Let me know if you want to do anything in particular \o/
...or just want an underwater souvenir, I guess!

+ He is also available to save anyone who may need saving on the descent below. The effects of the ship won't affect him. He can probably help people break out of any psychic control the ship is having over them, or any other traps that might be in their way, or mermaids. He's happy to fight those to save anyone who may need saving. He'll save anyone in the group by virtue of feeling like the whole group is his responsibility in a way... being eternal/ancient and powerful af and knowing they're all after the same ultimate goal: a return home.
+ Also, it seems like there's something magical to the root of the coral, and it would require going dangerously deeper for a few hours. Wrath could survive it, but he'd probably communicate to someone he was going down at least. They could go down too but it's more dangerous... SO if anyone else could likely survive a deeper trip, I'd be down for them going with.
I'll be putting up a top level so be sure to hit that up or let me know here if you have something specific in mind. :)

- Playing the guqin with calming melodies and spiritual energy to ease people down
- Attempting to tell stories which will probably be very different from anything the pirates have known.
- He might agree to some indulging the pirates, but may subtly pout his way out of something too bad.
- Try to seek out the owners of belongings left behind. It wouldn't even occur to him to loot.
- Help with the research / powering of restarting the sails because spiritual energy.
THE CONCORD
QUESTIONS
You should probably steal this ship's toiletries.

stealcollect, which contained the note "break at sea": Jim's thinking it might grow into a real-size lifeboat if he does that, would that be what happened?(no subject)

ASK THE DEAD
Except we totally talk about dead things.
Ask at most two-three questions/characters of the spirit you end up parlaying with here. Please be specific.
To keep things plot timely, let's aim for last questions by end of play on 2 July.
