Hello, hello! As folks are still finding their footing at the early-Jan event, we'll be nudging back its update to 18 January. More details will be available in the actual post, but to allay any 'fears': characters will still have the option to return to Ellethia-Allayar, if you want them to continue exploring that location.

The follow-up post will include general plot options and plot rolls — custom quests or events thrown in the gleeful laps of an individual of group. There will be three types of plot rolls available this round, dealing with the ghost lighthouse, waking the sleepers and the deadened mermaids.

If you think you'd like to bestow a plot roll upon your character, please sign them up under the relevant thread by 23:59 GMT on 16 January. To keep things evenly distributed, let's try to have just 15 characters per plot roll category. You have to choose one, but you can state a secondary preference, if you want.

■ Plot rolls are 100% optional, but try to follow up, if you can!

■ Characters who receive a plot roll can always drag other characters into it.

■ Unfortunately, it's difficult to guarantee that a specific group of characters will receive the same plot roll.
