god i haven't done an OOC intro in 100 years i forgot how to dwrp

HELLO hi!!! my name is Sisi and I am brand spanking new to Eastbound, just in time for your endgame. Today I bring you Temenos Mistral from Octopath Traveler II! Temenos is the party cleric, but he is best known for A) questioning the gods at literally all times, B) solving mysteries by going into his weird little mind palace, C) bullying his sidekick lovingly (?) and D) beating people up for information at night. He's very holy. Really. I promise.

My canon point is for the end of the game, so if you'd like to avoid any spoilers (as his route in particular has MANY spoilers) please let me know! By nature Tem is very nosy and also used to dealing with cults so I'm going to jump right into plot stuff wehe.

My IC Inbox and permissions are right here. Feel free to add me on plurk as well at [plurk.com profile] protags. Looking forward to playing with y'all! ♥

Hellooooo hello, it is Val here, bringing you one Asano Rin (family name, given name) from my favorite gory seinen manga Blade of the Immortal, which recently had me in a bit of a death grip, so I thought I'd revive a very old muse for endgame shenanigans.

She's sweet, she's nice, her sleeves are full of knives. Because her one goal in life is bloody revenge on the killer of her parents, a goal which has been derailed numerous times but she'll get him yet, just you watch! Her main characteristics are being Bad At Swords but not knowing when to quit, a potent mixture which sometimes leads to her blowing things up and such.

She'll be coming to you from pretty late in the manga, towards the beginning of the last big arc, and she will be mad about this. However, she's always willing to lend a helping hand where she can.

Here's her inbox and please have a look at my permissions, but just to reiterate: Blade of the Immortal contains potentially triggering subject matter and I will do my best to warn if it comes up. You can contact me at [plurk.com profile] honeyfoot, honeyfoot on discord or via DM!

hi hi hi! my name is kieran and I am also brand spanking new to Eastbound!! I'm bringing with me Cole from Dragon Age: Inquisition; he's a very friendly ghost who wants to help everyone feel better, and also might have been a(n unintentional) serial killer at one point in time.

He got better, I promise!

He's a rogue with a penchant for being sneaky, and as a spirit of compassion he's able to hear people's thoughts/hearts. He does unfortunately have a habit of honing in on things that bother or upset people and asking them about those things, but it's all in the spirit of trying to help people heal! Really! However, if you'd prefer he didn't pry into your character's minds, I've got an opt out/opt in post here. I promise my feelings won't be hurt if you use it, I just want to make sure I'm being respectful (unlike Cole)! He's currently coming from around the latter third of the game, just before Act 3 begins, and I'll be playing him as though his personal quest has not yet been completed!

As for me, you can find me on plurk at [plurk.com profile] tieflings - I mostly talk about RL since this is my first dip back into RPland after some years, but you're welcome to ping me if you need anything. I'm just a giant dweeb that loves kpop and Devil May Cry, so that's probably all you'll see on there ;v;

Cole's permissions post is here, and you can find his inbox here. I'm very excited, thanks for having me!!

Hello lovely old & new! You can find below a summary of what to expect in our upcoming cooldown event, which stretches until 10 January. A mod-led log with further cosmetic details goes up on 9 December, and you’re welcome to make your own logs & posts!

Coming off the heels of Arc VII, you can either use this period to deepen CR and unwind or solve the mystery of the beast of castle Netvor.

EPHES: CONCLUSION

As the party convinces him of his patron’s betrayal, Hand commander Narula kills Ephes leader Caius Justus in the Senate, paving the path for a military takeover. His attempt is short-lived, as party members organize his assassination — and, with the grudging approval of the remaining senators, orchestrate the ascension of Senator Procula Avita, who formerly represented widows, veteran soldiers and orphans. Lucius Meridius, a humble veteran of some military replaces Narula.

The Senate doubles down on its commitment to undead lady Messalina, releasing her from house arrest and giving her the Hand to free her brethren from the undead Brotherhood. Critically, they also want to avoid military uprisings from the remaining followers of the deceased Narula. Messalina departs with Lucius Meridius — leaving her gratitude to the party. She will be available to help in the NPC inbox.

The witch Karsa briefly awakens the beacon of Ephes to take everyone home, and characters who dropped or idled out of the game in November are said to have safely departed. Characters undergoing a canon update are pulled back into Akhuras just as the exhausted beacon collapses, also bringing in new party members.

Formidable winter winds have blocked critical main roads from onward travel. Long-term travel is unsafe until the storms recede. The Merchant has negotiated for the party to be hosted at castle Netvor for a month’s time.

Be our guest. )
